“I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.”--John 14:18

The Galilean Children’s Home, located in Liberty, Kentucky, is a home for children from many different backgrounds. The Home, founded by Jerry and Sandy Tucker, began in a small log cabin, expanded as the need arose and became a non-profit organization in 1984. The ministry now consists of several different departments all of which depend solely on donations.

The Angel House

“Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them…” Hebrews 13:3a

The Angel House, able to provide housing for up to 40 babies/toddlers, is a prison ministry. It offers mothers, who are in prison, another option. The ministry, providing the 24/7 love and care they need, does NOT place them up for adoption but meets the needs of the children during their time here. Another blessing of the ministry is the weekly prison visit giving opportunity to minister to the mothers as they bond with their children.

The Born Free Ministry currently serves the Kentucky Correctional Institute for Women state prison located in Pewee Valley, Kentucky. The babies are born at Louisville area hospitals and generally arrive at the Angel House by the time they are 2-3 days old.

You may donate: Infant formula, Soy & Regular, Lactose free baby formula, Baby Clothes 9-12 mos., especially boy's sleepers, New Infant clothes to bring babies home from the hospital, Good night pull-ups (M-L-XL), Liquid hand soap, Paper plates, paper towels, napkins, Kleenex, Baby wipes and Desitin, Ibuprofen (Adult & Children), Juice

“I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eats of this bread, he shall live for ever:” John 6:51a

The Bread of Life Café is a 150 seat, destination restaurant with an additional meeting room that seats 100. This is an opportunity for the handicapped children to feel needed and also make some extra spending money, an opportunity that they would otherwise never have had.
