Another Year, Another Life

The trials we faced in 2000 only made us stronger, yet, for another year.

We continue to praise God in all things. As I reflect on the first years of this ministry and the pains we endured to stay above water, I'm in awe to see the work of the Lord in all that was accomplished. For this we say a big ""Thank You" to all who gave to support the 65 children here.

If you offered a word of encouragement to us during our lowest times...Thank You!

If you volunteered time to swing a hammer, rock a baby, comfort the disabled, cook a meal, or hug the down hearted...Thank You!

If you joined worship service in our chapel and witnessed a converted heart...Thank You!

If you brought clothing, food, toys or building materials...Thank You!

If you donated quilts and/or attended our Quilt Auction or gave items to help us generate income for this ministry...Thank You!

If you invited us to sing at your church and blessed the children by being blessed...Thank You!

If you offered advice on how to reduce debt...Thank You!

If you donated stocks and have included us in your will so your giving can continue to bless these children...Thank You!

If you sacrificed your time and talents for our fundraising concerts or banquets...Thank You!

If you supported our efforts to provide quality education with Christian values...Thank You!

If you expressed love and sympathy when a child died last year...Thank You!

If you gave, with a cheerful heart, either $1.00 or thousands...Thank You!

If you're committing yourself to support God's children as we begin a new year...Thank You!

If you've been blessed by the Galilean children as we have, let us all turn our hearts toward God and say...Thank You!

As we anticipate the year ahead of us, we finally can say...God has opened the way for our new restaurant to be open in the spring. We recently bought the local "Market Barn" on Hwy 127 just 7 miles from the Galilean Home. Since we decided to down-size our original plans, an opportunity fell into our laps to buy this building, perfect for a restaurant, except we need to put in a commercial kitchen. We'll be using all our equipment and furnishings from our existing Bread of Life Cafe, presently in downtown Liberty. Although the restaurant project will be restructured and relocated, we are still planning to include a Memory Lane and Walk of Faith with your brick or pledge, unless you contact us to designate otherwise. The destination of our vision hasn't changed only the road to get there, and most importantly, in God's time.

Our Angel House flourishes with God's little lambs. We cherish the calling of saving them from the system and in some cases abortion. As we touch the world, a few chosen children from 16 different countries have come for surgery not available or affordable where they come from.

We rescue the crippled, blind and mentally disabled from the clutches of the unsympathetic world and provide quality education to the unfortunate.

All this brings this letter to a close with love and appreciation for giving as you have given, and for the prayers that are changing lives. We love you and look forward to another wonderful year - 2001. And yes, another life.

In Christ as always,

Jerry, Sandy Tucker and children.
